Service Members, Veterans Hiring Expo Set for December 6

"Military-Friendly" Employers Featured at Ft. Indiantown Gap Event

A special Military Hiring Expo for service members and veterans is set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 6 at Fort Indiantown Gap in Lebanon County, according to state Senator Jake Corman (R-34).

The event is part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce's "Hiring our Heroes" initiative and is co-hosted with the Pennsylvania National Guard and several other state and national partners. The event will feature more than 50 "military-friendly" employers with open positions in a variety of industries. These include full-time, part-time and seasonal positions with regional and national employers.

Attendees are encouraged to pre-register by December 3 online at http://www.uschamber.com/hiringourheroes/annville-pa or by calling the Pennsylvania National Guard Employment Outreach office at (717) 861-2640.
