July 21, 2010 - Senator Corman attended the grand re-opening ceremony at Poe Valley State Park in which the PA Bureau of State Parks is being selected as the recipient of the Gold Medal Award as the best state park system in the United States.

June 28, 2010 - Senator Jake Corman (R-34) welcomes Bellefonte High School PIAA AAA Girls Softball Champions, during their visit to the state capitol in Harrisburg. The Red Raiders, with a record 24-3--0, defeated Jersey Shore by a score of 3-2 in the state championship after rallying in the 7th inning. This is the first time a Bellefonte High School team has ever won a state championship. The Red Raiders won their second straight MAC league championship and won the District VI championship for the tenth time in eleven years on their way to the state title.
 

June 2, 2010 - Senator Corman and the Bridge Education Foundation present a donation of $20,000 of scholarship money to the families of Central Pennsylvania with the support of Motorola and Williams Transco Pipeline.

April 26, 2010 – Senator Corman along with representatives from Aetna Insurance, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Bravo Foundation presented $60,000 in EITC scholarships to families of Centre and Mifflin Counties.

Senator Jake Corman (R-34) recently participated in Read Across the Counties sponsored by United Way Success by 6. He read to the Presbyterian Preschool class at Lewistown Presbyterian Church on 3rd Street in Lewistown. 

January 14, 2010 - Senator Corman joined local officials at a news conference in Milford Township, Juniata County, to announce a $1.5 million grant through Pennsylvania's H20 Program.
