 July 27, 2011 - Senator Jake Corman, seated left, looks on as
Governor Tom Corbett signs into law his legislation to allow a parent to request
a "Certificate of Birth Resulting in Stillbirth" from the Pennsylvania
Department of Health. The new law will provide parents with documentation when a
child is stillborn, which can help families through the grieving and healing
process.
