  • Deaths Due to Aggressive Driving Increase
    Fatalities attributable to aggressive driving increased from 913 to 971 in 2007, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PADOT). Fifty-eight additional lives were lost, adding to the total of 4,640 killed over the past five years due to the actions of aggressive drivers.   (05/05/08)

    Whether you are taking a casual drive through the country or you are on your way to work or an appointment, the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) is reminding motorists to be aware, cautious, and careful as tractors and farm equipment are once again traveling our roadways.   • Avoid Buying a Flood Damaged Vehicle
    Major hurricanes and flooding across the country and within Pennsylvania are estimated to have damaged at least a half a million vehicles in recent years. Following cosmetic repairs, the damaged vehicles end up on the auction block or are registered in another state without disclosure of the damage, according to the PA Office of Attorney General (OAG).   (04/11/08)
