  • Important Absentee Ballot Information and Deadlines
    The last day to apply for an absentee ballot for Pennsylvania's upcoming primary election is April 15. All absentee ballots, except those received from military and overseas electors and those received from emergency absentee electors, must be received by the county boards of elections not later than 5:00 p.m. on April 18, 2008 to be counted. For information on when and how to use an absentee ballot, visit the Pennsylvania Department of State website at http://www.votespa.com/ and click on the absentee ballot quick link.   (04/07/08)

  • Reminder - e-Services Center Available to Help with State Taxes
    The deadline for filing income taxes is quickly approaching. If you haven't already filed your Pennsylvania taxes, begin your tax preparations with the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue e-Services Center.   • State Aging Plan Meetings Continue
    The Pennsylvania Department of Aging will conduct three additional town meetings during March to gather input for the state’s next four-year Plan on Aging.
